President and Founder of Infinity Media Services: Arron Gibson is a vocal advocate of standards based web design. What does that mean? Well, simply put, that the techniques and technologies used in creating the sites that Infinity Media designs, follow a set of praxis that have been adopted by the web community at large. The idea is that if all the technical issues are worked out, then browser designers and web designers can speak the same language and spend more of their time innovating and less time cross browser testing and debugging. Arron was educated at Ryerson University in the New Media Fine Arts program. It was in this program that he developed his love of systems art and interactive media. His 4th year thesis project, The Listening Line, won the Inaugural Emerging Artist Award from Gallery TPW during the year end showcase of student work, Maximum Exposure. In his spare time Arron enjoys playing music and writing. He is currently working on a personal song writing project, his interactive artwork, The Listening Line and a new website designed to inform people of the dangers of the popular social application known as Facebook.
